Jessica Moulynox from Backyard Botany is the creator of this floriography giftware range. She is a qualified ethnobotanist (Native plant expert) and lives in Cape Woolamai, Phillip Island.  Her vision was to create a product range that enables the purchaser to connect with Australian Native flora.

The design was inspired by George Robertson who wrote a book titled ‘The Language of Australian Flowers’ in 1891, in which he sought to create a unique floriography (the language of flowers) specifically for Australian native blooms. Traditionally, floriography had been associated only with European flowers. These products are the modern interpretation of Robertson's work, and the hope is that one day, people will see these native Australian flowers and instantly recall the meaning behind each one.
